Denmark Skins

Hello, pilots!
In April 1940, Germany invaded Denmark as part of Operation Weserübung.
The country was quickly occupied and soon became a German protectorate, as way to gain strategic airfields for the invasion of Norway.
The country remained under German occupation well until the end of the war, ending only on the 5th May 1945, when Allied forces liberated the country.
During this time, all military aviation had been prohibited during the Nazi occupation from 1940 to 1945.
It wasn't until the 1950s that Denmark received its first warplanes, preparing pilots to adjust to the new concept of high speed flight.
From Spitfires to Shooting Stars, enjoy my beautiful Danish collection!
