Ciao, piloti!

Italy was a fascist nation during the 1930s.
In a matter of years, it became a feared country and enemy of the Allies.
Led by Benito Mussolini, Italy went to war before World War II, invading and conquering Albania in 1938.
Once the War began, Italy helped his German Ally in many battlefields and operations, being the Mediterranean the most pivotal in the future of the Italian Empire.
Despite its success in the first years of the War, Fascist Italy was soon drawn off by the Allies, being pushed back from Tunisia all the way to the Alps. During this time, however, Germany supported this nation with machines and men, ensuring the Allies would take until April 1945 to successfully liberate the country.
After the War, the country received many warplanes from the NATO countries, allowing Italy to keep up with the latest technological breakthroughs.
While in a raging War that lasted 7 years for Italy, the Regia Aeronautica (Royal Italian Air Force) saw its technological advances, having the best warplanes available in service.
From obsolete biplanes, to sound-barrier breaking jets, Italy used many iconic warplanes of the 20th century.
Enjoy these Italian Beauties and keep on flying!
